NEWS UPDATE JULY 2017
We would like to welcome drummer Martin Ooms to the Thanatos ranks!
Until recently Martin was beating the skins for Rotterdam based metal outfit Sudden Annihilation, but he might be better known for playing guitar for both Melechesh (2006-2008) and Liar of Golgotha (1998-2005). We’ll start rehearsing all the old classics and will start working on new songs as well in the upcoming months. Expect Thanatos to return to the live front early next year!

THANATOS press release March 12th 2017
Unfortunately our drummer Yuri has decided to leave the band due to personal reasons. The show at Baroeg, Rotterdam on March 19th 2017 will mark his final appearance with the band. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have to cancel our show at Veghel Deathfest on May 13th.
Thanatos is not disbanding or anything. We will start writing songs for a new release within the next few months and will find another great drummer to continue our quest for global devastation… Thank you Yuri 😉
